Monosodium Phosphate is an inorganic compound which can be used in food and water treatment. Monosodium Phosphate is used as a pH control in acid-type metal cleaners in metal finishings. In water treatment, Monosodium Phosphate can be used as corrosion control. Monosodium phosphate is a food grade white powder that stabilizes and corrects the pH of several dairy products. It also acts for pH adjustment and as buffer for toothpaste. It is also used in Baking Powder, as a buffer and acidity regulator in food, Quality improver for evaporated milk, a binder and curing agent for bread and sauce etc.
